Current Super Eagles captain, Ahmed Musa reflects on the issue that transpired between former Super Eagles captain, Vincent Enyeama and Former Head coach of the team, Sunday Oliseh.


It could be recalled that about five years ago, Vincent Enyeama got the Team captaincy stripped off him by the then Head coach Sunday Oliseh in the Most Bizarre manner Ever. This singular action of the coach led to the immediate retirement of Enyeama from the National team.




Ahmed Musa who became the Captain after Oliseh's decision reveals in an Exclusive Interview with Legit.ng that himself in company of Mikel, Echiejile and Emenike went to meet the coach on behalf of Enyema but the coach Already has his mind made up.

"We were all shocked when it happened, it was a very sad moment for all of us on that day because we were in camp when it happened."

"After it happened, Mikel, Echiejile, Emenike and myself went to meet Sunday Oliseh to beg him on behalf of Enyeama but his mind was already made up and that’s football for you."



"Even till now, we still miss him (Enyeama) in the team" He concluded.

Ever Since Enyeama's Departure the National team has struggled to Replace him. Francis Uzoho, Ikechkwu Ezenwa, Maduka Okoye and Under-Fire Daniel Akpeyi are the Goalkeepers Currently in the National Team.
