Elderson Echiejile has expressed his disappointments over Bribery accusations placed on late former Super Eagles boss, Stephen Keshi by Former Squad members, Taye Taiwo and Chinedu Obasi.

 According to Obasi, he wasn't selected int the 2014 World cup team due to his refusal to pay Bribe on the other hand, Taye taiwo claims that he had to leave the national team due to some "dirty deals"

While speaking on Sports Radio, Brila FM, Echiejile has asked the accusers to mention the names of those who asked for Bribes



“It’s very ridiculous with these allegations going around, and I wonder why the names of these people are not mentioned." Echiejile Told Brila FM

“They should call out those who asked for bribes. As for me, I played under the late Amodu Shuaibu and Stephen Keshi and there was no time they asked for money from me to be included in the team,” He concluded.




 Elderson Echiejile was part of the 2013 AFCON tournament Gold medal winning team under Late Coach Stephen Keshi. Just Like Chinedu Obasi, Echiejile Didn't Make the 2014 World Cup which was due to injuries.

 Meanwhile Emmanuel Emenike, Former Team Mate of Echiejile has come out in defense of stephen Keshi.
