Manchester United legends, Paul Scholes, Owen Hargreaves have heaped praises on former  Eagles striker, Odion Jude Ighalo as he scored his first goal for the Red Devils in their Europa League big win against Club Brugge on Thursday.

After scoring his first goal for Manchester United and also becoming the first Nigerian to score for Manchester United, Odion Jude Ighalo has continued to enjoy huge praises from his coach and Club legends.

Ighalo caught the eye of two former Manchester United players who workd as an abalyst with BT Sport, Paul Scholes and Owen Hargreaves, when he scored in the 5-0 Dismantling of Club Brugge in the second leg of Europa league game at Old Trafford with a resounding five-nil victory which included goal from Odion Jude Ighalo.



According to Paul Scholes, the on loan striker look sharp and believed that striker will do a good job for the Club.
“He did well and looked sharp. He’s come into this team at the right time, just as a really creative player has come in Bruno Fernandes. If United need to rely on him I think he’ll do a good job.” Scholes said.

Former England and Manchester United midfielder Owen Hargreaves Concurred with his former teammate and also gave a breakdown of what Odion jude Ighalo brings into Manchester United’s squad.

“I like the fact he gives United a reference point.
“He is strong with his back to goal and is different to Martial and Rashford like that and I think we’ll see more goals from him for Manchester United between now and the end of the season.”


Ighalo would be expecting to get his second start for Manchester united on Sunday when they take on Alex Iwobi's Everton at the Goodison park.
