Newly appointed assistant head coach of the Super Eagles, Joseph Yobo has finally spoken up amidst criticism from the football world.

The former captain of the senior team and the last captain to lead Nigeria to a major tournament triumph at the Afcon 2013, was appointment last month after Imama Amapakabo’s sacking. 




There's been criticism against Yobo and the 39 Years old has decided not to pay deaf ears to what the masses and media are saying.

 “I know there are nay sayers and people who are talking but now, is the time for me to do the needful and let my work do the talking,” Yobo said via Brila.

”Do you know what it means to be the captain of the Super Eagles, and to fill in the role for so long?
”I have been through criticism all my life and moreover, I’m working under someone so, the responsibility is not totally on me, ” Yobo added.




Yobo would be making  his debut against Sierra Leone next month in Asaba.
